Accessibility Statement

As a visually impaired person, I understand the challenges and frustrations of accessing the internet with a disability. I am fully committed to making The Wholly Braille accessible for all users. 

To create my website, I used a pre-built theme. The main disadvantage is my options for customisation are limited. Any major adjustments will need to be carried out with the support of an expert. Despite these restrictions, I have included the following features to maximise accessibility:

• Large text (16pt or higher) across the site- may vary across devices
• Clear, sans serif fonts with high contrast to backgrounds
• Detailed visual descriptions of all products
• Alt text on images
• A review stage at checkout before payment is taken
• Responsive and friendly customer service

Prior to launch, the site has undergone a testing phase. Volunteers with varying levels of sight have provided feedback on ease of use and the customer experience as a whole.
